I am writing to ensure you are all aware of the rezoning proposal currently under review for our street.
The most direct impact on our street is that the west side of 39th Ave SW would allow for the construction of 4-story LR2 housing, as shown below. For a real visual reference, these buildings can be 50ft tall. The utility poles on our street are 55ft tall.
This may not happen instantly, but it is possible under the new zoning proposal. I am personally concerned that this could impact all of us. If you have similar concerns, please see these opportunities to influence.
